It's been a long 2 years ~ but now it's 90 days at a time!

So a lot of you see me post about fitness and nutrition (still working on that one) and Body by Vi... Here is why! This was me, in June at my sister's wedding.  I was 270 pounds. Two years ago I decided enough was enough! Thank God I met my brother Antonio... He inspired me to change. He wanted to start a diet called Keto.. I had no clue what it was but I got to eat tons of meat so I was in!

Then it trickled down from there... we went to the gym at lunch, I woke up at 5 am to walk around my block 1 time, then moved up to two times and 3, then started jogging... you see, he believed in me. He inspired me and kept me motivated. So I didn't stop. I kept going. By November last year, I had lost 30 pounds but I didn't stop there. I met another gentlemen, one whom also played an important roll in my transformation, Kyle owner at Black Label CrossFit, it was there that I realized being in shape has nothing to do with exercising or dieting but it was a state of mind.  In life, the body can do amazing things it's just our minds that prevent them from happening.  I learned how to not only inspire others but motivate myself.

Recently I have the privilege to train with some world class athletes one importantly being Dave, not only my friend but a big brother that keeps driving me to push myself and achieve greatness.  With out these people, I wouldn't be where I am today. I wouldn't be the person I am today and I sure as hell wouldn't be two10 pounds.  It's been a long road, lots of ups and downs, and even more self reflections but here I am two years later and 60 pounds lighter.

In life, it’s all about the opportunities you take and the people who inspire you to believe, even if you cannot believe for yourself.  It can be done. It can be accomplished. You can push yourself to limits far beyond you ever though you were capable of because someone believes in you.  I am on another journey now… one that has been my path for many years only now I can actually believe in it. I want to help people, always have. I want to transform a persons mind into believing they can accomplish anything. I want to push them and show them it can be done just like the mentors before me.  If the mind is on the right path, the body is sure to follow.  If you need anything, feel free to reach out to me. It took me two years to get to where I am today; I look forward to the next two and the two after that and the two after that.

Start your 90 day challenge here!
